A free tool built by a musician who got tired of messy sheet music binders.
Why this exists
MakeMySongBook started from a simple frustration: printing guitar tabs and sheet music as a proper book is surprisingly difficult. You end up with songs that start on the wrong page, multi-page pieces that force you to flip mid-song, and hours wasted manually shuffling pages in a PDF editor.
So we built a tool that handles the tricky parts automatically. Upload your PDFs, organize them into chapters, design a cover, and generate a print-ready book with proper double-sided page alignment. No sign-up needed, no files uploaded to servers — everything runs in your browser.
How it works
MakeMySongBook is a browser-based tool. Your song PDFs stay on your computer and are processed entirely in the browser. We never see or store your files. The generated book PDF is created locally and downloaded straight to your device.
Beyond the songbook builder, we also offer tools for creating chord sheets, scale reference pages, fretboard diagrams, lyrics formatting, and setlist books — all free, all running in your browser.
Who built this
MakeMySongBook is built by Daan Hiemstra, a musician and guitarist based in the Netherlands. After years of building tab binders for personal use and for bandmates, the idea grew into a tool that any musician can use.
